Betty Edwards

Kazu Sano was such an amazing man. He had a contagious passion for life & art that inspired so many of his students, peers & friends. Yet he did so with a quiet peace & calm nature. I will never forget Kazu, he was like this glowing light that poured out inspiration & passion to the world around him.
I remember him taking the time to describe in delicate detail all about a special flower he had seen once. His elegant & attentive description of it was mesmerizing.
This piece is done in honor of him, I see him as a unique & lovely spirit that is a rare glowing flower amidst what can be, at times, a dark world.

Rest in peace, Kazu, thank you for everything.
