Dedication to Kazu

I can't accept the fact that Kazu was left us. I never forgot the first directed study meeting in his home in Spring 1988. I went with other roommate who also taking a directed study with Kazu., we were invited to sit in the living room, Kazu made a cup of green tea to greeting us ...during the casual conversation, we know that we were happened to be born in the same year. In those days, I crossed Golden Gate Bridge to visit his home studio once a week, my dedication piece was the memory of the time.It has been more than twenty years now, his gentle, hospitable gesture remain a deep impression. He set a high bar for the professionalism stander, it has been a inspiration to me since. Kazu, you'll be missed.
