Project due date extended to October 15th!

We are now announcing the Project due date extended to October 15th!

For all who already submitted the art works, THANK YOU! all the beautiful works brought more attention to this tribute project.

For who was not yet take part, hope we will see your work soon!

I like to talk a little bit about why I start the project:

I was in Kazu's class for two years, and one year as his teaching assistant for the Acrylic painting class.

He told us one day in the direct study class about his health condition, and he might not be able to finish the semester. It was very shocking for all of us.

During the last 2 months, Kazu still come to class, we all know he was fighting so hard with the cancer, and yet he tried to keep everything as usual. 

He left just few days after our graduation, it was a big shock for me, I think there were many people feel the same.

It was the time that I'm about to get ready carrying all I've learned from school and march towards the real world.

During this time I was thinking what was the most important thing I've learned during the school years, I think of Kazu, his attitude and passion towards art and the urge of touching and inspiring his students. I hope I can carry on some of the spirit he showed to us.

 

Now, I would like to ask everyone who paid attention to this project to spread the words and invite more Kazu's former student or who ever inspired by him to join us.
